About Marcia
Marcia Mack's passion for real estate began while working in the film industry as a location scout. She would look for and photograph possible homes to be used as locations for commercials, TV shows, and films. Marcia then was the manager of a jewelry store and manufacturing shop in the Loop where she excelled in customer service. As a single mother of two children she went into real estate feeling it would be a good fit allowing her to be there for kids and take advantage of her background with homes and customer service. She has since brought her experience and expertise to her real estate practice helping numerous buyers and sellers in the North Shore areas, especially Glenview and Northbrook, North Side Chicago, and the North West suburbs. Marcia says I felt that I could really add value in helping those looking for a new home, wanting to sell, or those in situations forcing them to sell.
Marcia is especially skilled at helping her clients through life's transitions; from first time home buyers, to growing families needing a larger home, to downsizing and even less happy events such as divorce, sales for estates and those forced to sell for financial reasons she has the patience, kindness, and diligence to make sure the job is done right, as quickly as possible with minimal stress for her clients. Marcia's clients describe her as Very outgoing, personable and creative. Patient like a saint! Very responsible, practical and helpful, determined.
Why did Marcia choose to move her real estate practice to Baird & Warner in 2017? I believe it is a great fit for me and my clients. A family owned company that has been around for many years with a great reputation. A company that I feel will give me the support I need to really grow my real estate business and better serve my clients.
In her spare time Marcia loves nature, going hiking, visiting mountains, kayaking, art, architecture, photography, music. She describes herself as a bit of an adrenaline junkie having gone skydiving, bungee jumping, and zip lining. She is also a HUGE CUBS FAN!!! She has two great kids that share her passion for music and are involved in activities such as wrestling team, Civil Air Patrol, and Marching band at school.
Marcia was born in Chicago, grew up in Skokie, moved to Morton Grove, and attended Niles West High School. Went to college in Chicago at Columbia College and holds a degree in fine arts. She lived in the city for 13 years (Wrigleyville Go Cubbies!, Lincoln Park, Printer Row, Andersonville) purchased her first home in Morton Grove then moved to Glenview eventually moving to the Glen and lived there for 12 years.
